Moving Objects, Museum of Lies

Moving Objects was commissioned for a larger based project called the Forgotten Object exhibition and Museum of Lies exhibition with Cyfarthfa Castle museum and University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

This piece played on the authenticity of a journey through millenniums and explored all possible stories and lives these forgotten objects gave the earth.
​
The piece follows an Object in Modern times which is performed by Dr. Katharina Zinn and that same Object living it's own experiences performed through the dancing body of Friederike Zinn.
I collaborated with Professor Dr. Katharina Zinn to give meaning and new life to the archeological discoveries they have found.

​The end product produced a 3 minute dance film that was shown in Budapest 2022 at the European Association of Archaeologists conference, and is still being shown at new Museum of Lives exhibitions in Wales to this day.
