Martial Dance Movement research

An ongoing project

This project researches the importance and complexity of dance as a worldwide language. How everyone can understand each other without the use of words and tell their stories through moving.

 

Exploring multiple movement styles to appreciate and find connections within those cultures.

​

Currently focusing on the connection between Western Contemporary dance with Martial art forms and philosophies.

The project is currently focusing on Aikido, Kenjutsu, Qigong as martial art forms.
